gordonkeithwannabe.com, is a community that shares things found on the web that make us giggle. Our leader Gordon Keith (The Great Gordo) is described on the The Ticket's "website as most deranged, twisted, dark, and troubled personality in Dallas/Fort Worth Radio".

Purpose: The qualities that describe Gordon Keith are why he is cherished by all the members of this site. All of us here are fans, nay fanatics of Gordo and like to think we can find things on the web that he would share with us. This site is a collection of such findings.

What we do here: Daily the faithful audience of Gordo's humor submits links via e-mail, similar to way servants submit offerings up to their deity. Even though The Great Gordo is talented he does not have enough time in the day to thoroughly respond to each e-mail, but he will recognize our puny existence with a 'Giggle' or two if you are lucky. This is why us here are gordonkeithwannabe.com do not vote on story's we 'Giggle' them. A member submit links that they find online and everyone else giggles and discusses the find (kind of like on the Family Feud where one family is trying to steal - give me 'Happy Pants')



How to Use

Design: The site has been designed to be as straight-forward and user-friendly as possible. This was accomplished by implementing the open source pligg software with the addition of many features and tweaks. Once you have created an account and login, you can begin to contribute to the site!

Voting: If you like a particular story that is listed on this site and you believe it deserves more giggles, then you can vote for it. Voting for a story will cause the giggle to raise by 1. Once you submit a vote, however, you cannot remove it, so vote wisely. In order to vote for a giggle, simply click on the square icon to the left of the story title:

Submitting: One of the main features of this site is its ability to continually grow. If you have or know of a story Godor followers would like that isn't in the gordonkiethwannabe.com database, add it! Click "Submit a story" tab at the top of the page. On the first page, enter a URL to the story's' site. After that, fill in the required fields including your comments and review of the story and submit it!

What Else?: "Ok, I have giggled my favorite stories and submitted a few that were missing, now what?" Well, you can start by reviewing/commenting on stories. You can either browse by category, tags, or search in the upper right to find a specific story. Once you find it, simply click on the title and enter your comments in the comment box. Also, check out the "Live" feature which shows you real-time what is being changed on the site or click on "Comments" at the far bottom of any page to comment on this site or request new features. You can also rate the comments of others + or -. How about viewing the "Top Games" or the "Top Users"? You can also add anyone to your list of friends by clicking on their username and click "add to friends". You can now send private messages to your friends. At gordonkeithwannabe.com, you should never be bored!



Features

Categories: To change categories, choose one of the category links in the menu on the right side of the screen.

Sort: You can browse the site in many different ways. You can use the tabs in the upper right of the main screen, which will sort the games in the current category and genre by the requested term. Click on "Most Popular" will display the highest ranking story first.

Tags: On the right side of the screen, there is a box labeled "Tag Cloud". Clicking any of these links will return all stories tagged under that tag in the current category. You will notice the title at the top of the page change as well.

RSS Feeds: Also on the left side at the bottom are RSS Feeds so you can keep up-to-date with changes in any or all of the categories.
